Professor Beata Stępień from Poznań University of Economics and Business (Poland) visited the College of Business at NTPU from April 28th to May 2nd through the Erasmus+ program for short-term teaching and exchange. NTPU and the ARDF co-hosted the "Sustainable Information and Climate Risk Seminar," focusing on how businesses can utilize sustainability information to enhance climate governance. Hosted by Yi-Hsin Wang, experts including Hsiang-Lin Chih, Yvonne Lu, Tzu-I Kao, and Chi-Jui Huang discussed climate risk, supply chain information, ERP integration, and AI applications in sustainable finance.
The seminar emphasized data governance based on IFRS S2, parallel management of carbon emissions and financial data, and AI's role in improving sustainable lending efficiency. Expert consensus included the importance of sustainable information quality, system integration, ESG and ERP integration, AI as a driving force, and cross-sector collaboration, urging Taiwan to accelerate integration and move from information disclosure to strategic management.
